Simply the best part of our vacationWe found the champagnaria just for a coincidence but we stopped for a glass of wine and then we spent all evening in this little charming place tasting wonderful appetisers made with the best raw materials.

ChampagneriaOrvieto is a beautiful terrace in Italy. The great duomo is amazing, and the medieval town is amazing. But the best part of this charming town is the Champagneria behind the duomo. Velia made us feel very welcome, cooked fresh italian delicacies. Gianluca served us champagne and some of the region best wine: "Orvieto Classico".

Breathtaking!Of all the places I visited in Italy, Orvieto is by far my favorite. Nestled in the hills, with cobblestone streets, quaint little restaurants, a beautiful town square and picturesque basillica, the village is countryside Italy at its best.

What a memoryI was in Orvieto back in 1993. We traveled most of Italy on my trip, but Orvieto has always been my favorite memory of the vacation. It was such a quiet, old serene town...like going back in time. It was beautiful with it's old-time charm.
