If your a violin enthusiast, this is the place to go. Not for the music, but to see where Stradivarius worked. There is a Stradivarius museum, as well as museums with Strads and other early violins on display. The atmosphere is a bit less vibrant, as it's not as much a tourist town. The city is less convenient for English-speaking travelers as most people don't speak English in this city. But visiting was well worth it.
