i really loved the ice-cream! always a cafe or resterant willing to feed you delious food for a decent price.great for a short family holiday and not to far to travel.

We just returned a week ago. We've been to all the diverse regions in Italy and felt it was finally time to experience Capri. Let me first suggest that if you are staying there for any length of time, utilize the luggage pick up service at the dock. It costs about 11 Euro per bag but it's worth it! Was there in June and not as crowded as I was expecting. The ferry from Napoli is not too long. The boat trip around the island during the warm summer, with a stopover at the Grotta Azzurra via rowboat, was a load of fun. Also had a great time hiking out to Arco Naturale, siteseeing homes along the way. The Marina Grande is definitely a tourist trap, but you shouldn't be spending much time there anyways.

One's enthusiasm about Capri - an extraordinarily beautiful place - should be tempered by common sense. In summer the place is CROWDED, jam-packed, from top to bottom. Capri Is so beautiful.The setting is so romantic.I would recommend it for couples.The beaches are beautiful and the food is top notch.The roads are a little tough to navigate but it is very much worth the time and money.
