Kilkenny is just big enough and just small enough. The people are great, the weather is great, and there is lots to do and see. I have been their twice already, and wouldn't go back to Ireland without staying there at least one night.
Kilkenny was the first town on my visit to Ireland. I loved it's friendly atmosphere...the history...just everything. It was the beginning of the most wonderful holiday I've ever had and I can't wait to go back!!

I fell in love with Kilkenny right away. Wonderful little streets, all the irish charm, good food, trendy and friendly pubs. Great town, and I wish I had spent longer there.

I loved Margaret, I loved her lovely home, I enjoyed being just a tad away from town center. Her breakfast and serving dishes were flawless. But especially Margaret - no one better. I could see myself being a friend of hers for a long time. thank you Margaret and Tony for sharing your wonderful home and beautiful grounds. Love, John and Lory Yorkey
Kilkenny is a gorgeous little Irish town. It reminded me of scenes from Irish films. I really enjoyed its beauty and charm. Great shopping and excellent food!! If I could, I would move there today!! :) A must see in Ireland!
Although my stay in Kilkenny was very brief, I thought the town was beautiful and charming. Should I visit Ireland again, I will plan to stay in Kilkenny longer. The castle and abbey are must-sees. My B&B was more than accomodating and my hostess friendly. The Brog Maker was a great place for dinner, music, and drinks.
I have been to Kilkenny many times and have stayed at many places there, but overall I thought that this hotel was the best. I am going to stay there from now on. my friend went there a month ago and she told me about the spacious rooms and the luxurious bathrooms. I would love to visit the place.
This is like stepping into the past. Wonderful restaurants & pubs. Castles, churches, and such incredible surrounding areas. This is an ideal place to visit. We loved it and will return. We spent 16 days in Ireland and Kilkenny ranks in the top 5 towns we visited. It is a must visit.
