I've been to this place for more than twice... and I never find some bad experiences at all. This is the place that all of us can call as the peaceful place to visit, both for fun or for business. The streets are not as busy as the streets in other cities like Jakarta or Surabaya, the air is less polluted so we can still breathe clean air ...

Perhaps it is this friendly atmosphere that makes me feel safe in Pekanbaru. As such, one need not worry about safety in this part of Indonesia, as one'd realise that the community there in Pekanbaru is one knitted by trust and all things beautiful.

But don't get this city wrong. It is in no way boring or dull. Nightlife in Pekanbaru is in fact happening though I have yet to hit the clubs
