Batam Waterfront Holiday InnI travelled to Batam on 5th Friday Sept 08, being Indian we needed visa on arrival for which you need to pay 10 USD, since we came from Singapore did not carry USD we were asked to pay 20 SGD. (God knows where they get the rates from). It took 1 hour+ from Singapore to Waterfront via Senkupang by Batam Fast ferry. The hotel Holiday inn is 5 -7 ...3 of 3 Yahoo! Great experience! Out of the way place....I visited Batam, Indonesia and stayed at the Batam View Beach Resort. It was extremely low cost, especially considering the beautiful natural surroundings. The staff was incredible, and the room, food, etc. were average. Nothing too Indonesian, but a little twist from completely western.You did not find this review helpful.17 of 24 Yahoo!
