Spice Village in Thekkady near Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is a delightful hotel. It's way off the beaten track and once you step through the gates you are transported into a wonderful and relaxing environment, good food and simple but lovely accommodations all reasonably priced. We will go back again if we ever have the chance.
