There is no written mention of which roads require a permit if you are coming by car. This causes chaos and uncertainity hence spoiling the holiday spirit. Also the parking charges are skyrocketing. Better issue a daily ticket of Rs 50/- like in mussoorie to enter these areas.

Moreover defaecation by horses spoil the tempo of ridge.

We atayed at the Cecil Hotel, and it was fabulous! With it's beautiful old world charm and proper manner we were treated like royalty.
