Its a nice place to visit. This city has many historical monuments and have great history. There are many forts, dams and site seeing places. The city is also growing in IT sector.

If you are a foodie, Pune is a recommended gastronomic visit.

Do visit the "food district" near Peru Gate for rustic Kolhapuri non-vegetarian dishes.

I was in pune recently and visited DSk vishwa. Its fantastic location. Just 4 Km from the highway and far away from pollution. Its hil station near a city. Nice air. Nice locality to have week end. Also u can have appartments to available for short stay at very resonable rates..
