the promenade is a great place to stay in pondy , the hotel is very convenient , good view and very central .
the only thing we didnt like were the huge paintings done by some artist , very distasteful ! for a hotel that has spent so much on decor , they could have done better to get a artist of some calibre ! the ambience was great and so was the service .
you must visit the restaurant at the terrace -it has a beautiful view at night .

Stayed in The Promenade for 2 weeks on business! Staff are fantastic, recognised and remembered my name from the 4 hours I spent there in November stuck in the Tamil Nadu floods (incidentally then they were fab, reserving us rooms, continually calling the airport and even charging my phone for me!)
