A cool place and a gateway to many such placesBangalore is a green city, weather mostly cool and in winter its much fun.
Best thing about visiting Bangalore is, you can plan many small trips from here to places like coorg, and many nearby waterfalls and to tamilnadu & kerala as well! Not badIt's a nice place in all. Great pubs! The traffic is crushing but the people are very friendly and helpful. There aren't those many touristy spots in and around, but if you treat the city as a base for your travels further south - that's ideal.1 of 1 Yahoo! Bangalore - It's all hypeWhat I like:
- People seem to be nice and helpful
- Weather wise was not as hot as I thought (March)
- Felt fairly safe walking on the street
What I dislike:
- Traffic is horrible
- One of the most polluted cities in the world
- Shopping is mediocre at best. Most items are more expensive than in California

The best Restaurant in Bangalore - SaigonSaigon is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Bangalore serving Pan Asian Cuisine.
The ambience is great , Food authentic ( Thai/ Vietnamese/ Malay/ Singaporean and Indonesian)
The serve a lettuce wrap which is just out of the world also their soft shell crabs, Prawn in Roasted Chilli Sauce Green Curry Prawns / Phad Thai/ Tub Tim Grob were just perfect
