Don't be fool by the outside of the building like a 5* but inside it worse than 2* hotel. This hotel need serious remodel, the carpet is old and stale, bathroom is very small and wall paint is peeling. The pros is that the hotel is right next to the MTR and closeby the bay. Our room got a nice ocean view and we get see the beautiful HK night ...
Nice enough city with historical and cultural sights but the political situation is just too chaotic. I would give this country a miss for a couple of years.

Kowloon side, Hong Kong
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/06
Kowloon is part of the city of Hong Kong, but its actually on the mainland of China. I always stay at the Park Hotel in Kowloon mainly because the rooms are huge and its in a good central location. There are loads of cool little shops around the hotel, including a 7-11 for personal items. Its also really close to the Golden Mile, and the many ...
Milu Deer is a household animal. There is one city in Hubei inseparable from it. What’s it? ---Shishou, my hometown.. I found Kowloon to be much cleaner than the island of Hong Kong. The shopping and the eateries to me were better in Kowloon than Hong Kong. You will find just about at type of food style you can think of. I found Kowloon also has a much safer feeling about it. When I return on my next trip I will deffinately stay in Kowloon over Hong Kong. Hong Kong was a great day trip but I enjoyed Kowloon more.

On every other corner someone, mostly Indians, want to drag you into some backroom to selly you "copy Rolex". Our hotel, the Hyatt (not recommended), had staff outside to ...
Kowloon is an amazing place! When people think of Hong Kong, they probaly think about Central (the economic downtown with sky scrapers and the busy well heeled professionals walking and talking on their cell phones), but I found Kowloon to be a much more "real" place in that it was dirtier, less orderly, and full of signs of common life. ...
