What a stay at the Barefoot! I will share many details but in summary, the staff was off the chart friendly and helpful, the food was some of the best I have ever had (I live in San Francisco and eat out all of the time), and the accommodations were great. The details by category:

Mayan Princes was super, clean super nice people, resturant sucked but others close by. Did the honeymoon pack (40th anniv) was great..zip thru canopy was a blast for 60 yr olds. The deli in the mall close by had great sandwiches and breakfasts, across the street at b&b great breakfast,Infinity Bay good hamburger, wonderful snorkel off Infinty ...

I love the laid back life on roatan.. We stayed in west end with Arco Iris and was diving with Tyll's dive.. Both are top notch and amazingly inexpensive. More important, good people. We went in february for 2 weeks and we had a blast..
Our group counted 4 and often we could go out just us with a divemaster on our own boat.. Great diving, good ...

I have heard about the new cruise terminal coming up and the shopping mall. In it are going to be souvenir shops, restaurants, and jewellery stores with all international brands at duty free prices! what more can one ask for? shoppers paradise!!

2 Doves Bar and Grill, just past the cruise ship dock.
We had a blast there. Friendly people, clean restrooms and premises, ice cold beer, and I mean ice cold. Great fun. Can`t wait to get back there.

Roatan is a great place to go if you are a SCUBA diver, because of the reefs teeming with wildlife. If you really like snorkeling, it is pretty awesome. I was impressed on my second snorkel trip to see a dozen squid hanging out a couple feet below the surface of the water, all lined up.
