The city of La Ceiba is wonderful host for Carnival which is in May. It is true celebration of history and culture. Carnival is about a week long. The city is alive with sights and sounds. There is a parade with the best costumes, music, food and fun is everywhere. The live muisc is all night long. A new

We were really impressed with the service provided by the owners, Jim & Cathryn. The beach was not crowded, sometimes we had it to ourselves to stoll and explore.

We were to stay in La Ceiba for three days. When we got to the hotel (La Quinta Real) it was very beautiful. Unfortunately they changed our reservation to a higher price and a smaller room. The staff was rude and acted as though they were doing us a favor by having a reservation for us. I refused to stay. My children started to cry, especially ...

Talk about the best kept secret in Central America. LeCeiba has it all, beaches, rain forest, white water rafting, night life, great accomodations and very inexpensive. If you like eco-tourism then this is the place to be. If you are more of a beach goer then this place has loads of potential. For those of you that need to shop, there is a mall and loads of small shops that sell local souvenirs. Enjoy!

This was the best and most relaxing trip I have ever had. I plan to go there a tleast once a year, it was that much fun. So much night life it was incredible.

Nothing everything was inexpensive i can live there forever, it's a paradise on earth.

Party time in the clubs, lots of young people. Rainforest adventures with whitewater rafting & zip-line canopy tours were great. Beaches are average, want great beaches go the the Bay Islands. Stay overnight in La Ceiba on our way to the Bay Islands of Roatan & Utila. Fun place.

Expatriates (ask for Expatriados if going by cab)is owned by an American and a Honduran, and they are "hands on" owners - greeted us personally. It was a nice respite to find English speaking people, and refreshing to find both locals and expats ...

I have an experience in la Ceiba this spring break, I stay in the new Hotel La Quinta next to the beach, the activities arround were awesome and the clubs better!
I recomend to visit this city if you are planning to go Honduras.
