My wife and I stay at La Herradura Hotel for 3 days over this last weekend. Great value for your money, excellent location (1 block from the central office), very clean rooms, all with private bath. The 2nd floor covered terrace has tables, hammocks & a great view. It is not very big, but very quaint. Just the right atmosphere with a very friendly staff.

This is one of the great places in the world to visit, especially if you stay at La Madraguda Inn. The people are wonderful, the town is quaint, the ruins are fascinating, the parrot preserve is beautiful and the restaurants are terrific. It's also a great place to go shopping, especially for wood carbings and Guatemala textiles. It's one of the places you have visit, but leave plenty of time. You'll want to stay.

I loved the people, they were so nice to us! We enjoyed every moment of it becausewe had never been to place so beautiful and exotic,i will be back but the next time im going to make sure i bring more gifts for my family and friends back home.

I learn more about the mayas,and their religions, their way of life, etc.I did like the ruins like the famous ruin of Rosalila, the stealea, the maya court and the hotel service.

It was great & Awesome, the hotel service was awful but you can have a blast in the restarants and all. It is good to go with a love on or with you family
