We spent our vacation at the Grand Coastal hotel. It was surely a wonderful experience. We kept a low profile and enjoyed every comfort the hotel had to offer. It was a pleasure waking up in the mornings and having breakfast with kind folks. The staff was very friendly, espaecially the manager. I would not hestiate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fabulous vacation. Yes, it does fit your budget.

GT is pretty much like any big city: it's very populated, everyone seems to be in a hurry, lots of fast food joints etc. I'm from Berbice, which may be considered the countryside. My family and I think this is a great place to rest and relax. My kids are very amused by cows and sheep venturing into yards, cats sleeping in firesides, ...

I liked chillin wit some of the kids there. They show me a lot of respect and watch out for me.

Just watch yourself in Georgetown because they call it the danger zone.

I like the quiteness and screnity of this place.


I dislike the way people dispose of garbage in some areas.

November, March and June are better visiting time. It entails safety and quiteness about this place. Much easer to view city and places of interest. Holydaying more peaceful and enjoyable.

I love the atmosphere of the place.The night life is good. Don't forget to visit the fish shop in Albertown & Transport oldies every saturday night. And the mash celebration is a blast on 23 February.
