Was there twice...in '07 and '09. Stayed at Hotel Dos Mundos (meaning two worlds and thus my title) both times. Enjoyed their pool and grounds. Right off the main shopping street. Pana is a great town for photo buffs and shoppers alike. The colors alone in the market stalls and shops are a feast for the eyes, and the bartering is always ...

Posada Los Encuentros Tours&Lodge
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/07
The Atitlan lake is for sure the most beautiful lake in the world. I found the best place to disover this magical, fantastic place. Somhow I bought a book "The Atitlan Reference Guide" in a bookstore in Antigua and desided to stay at the place of the Author. Posada Los Encuentros made me feeling really at home. I was part of the family ...

Maktub´ar Café - Jardin

A Must See
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/13/05
I really enjoy the cultural energy and not to mention the view of Lake Atitlan. Wow! Incredible. It sure beats being stuck on the 405 during rush hour. The people there are very friendly and most speak some English. I recommend taking a boat ride across the Lake and checking out the small villages on the other side like Santiago de Atitlan.
