best vacation rental in Antigua Guatemala
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/08
Hi, i been traveling to Antigua almost every year since 1997, two years ago i decided to check the vacation rentals there, i found "Casa de la Abuela", a great colonial house own by a distinguish Guatemalan family and only 3 blocks from central park. Since then i am now visiting Antigua twice a year and i stay in this magnificent house, i recommend it to all my friends. the owner contact is colonialparadise@gmail.com

By time we were done we had maybe nine entrees ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/07

The hotel did not provide a continental breakfast, a coffee pot in the room, complimentary bathrobes, jacuzzi tub, there was no lotion, and the bottles of water placed in your bathroom were $3.00 a piece. We were not allowed ...
I loved this place because of the environment. It`s a clean, old fashioned city. I`m planning to visit this city every year. It`s not expensive and the access is good i MEAN ROADS IN GOOD CONDITON.

Antigua-wonderful tourist city in the highlands
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/15/07
Antigua is a tourist city, but you can see this as positive or negative. Touristy in the respect of many hotels, restaurants and travel agencies, but this is what travelers need to have a good time there and then travel on. It is still a true colonial Guatemalan city with lots to offer, churches, museums, colonial ruins, markets, well preserved ...
If you stay in Antigua for a few days, you can enjoy the culture, people and things totaly new to you.
But if you stay beyond a week or so, what lies underneath gradually becomes apparent.
The more you talk to the local people, you will realize that they don't really appreciate tourists except for the money they bring. In fact the local ...
