The city of my youth!Kavala has a special place in my heart. I lived there from age 14 to 21 and was there blessed with the best days of my life.
The history, the beaches, the sea, the food, the climate (except perhaps in the thick of winter) are all terrific. The people especially are so friendly and helpful. They have a natural warmth towards strangers and the ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

A town where I want to liveKavala is the town of my soul. a Greek treasureMy family has a small home in Kavala but I have only managed to visit once in my life.
I loved everything about Kavala. The locals were so friendly and helpful. The town is very pretty, both the "old" and the new. The old town is charming, built on the hill with its charming homes on its many winding narrow streets.

Suprisingly beautifullThere's a lot of unknown history in the direct area a person might overlook,fantastic though if you chooce to do some "research" (Filipi,the castle,old town).
Beautiful nature,like the delta of nestos,extrordinary beaches(especially on Thassos island).
