Summary:
We stayed in Ialissos. If I were on my honeymoon or single, I would choose another island (or perhaps I would choose another part of Rhodes), but for a family with small children, or a wind/kite surfer, or people who don't want to be in a total party spot, Ialissos works just fine.

Greece is our family's **favorite** destination. The food, the atmosphere, and the people - all amazing and keep us going back to the isles as often as possible.

Well, now it been a couple of years since I visit Greece last time. But before have I been to Rhodes over 5 times.

And I really love Rhodes, it has good beaches, good food (my favourite is Gyros), good nightlife and also a lot of culture to watch.

It's also a quite safe town, and I havent experience and problems when I been to Rhodes. I must recommend to visit the old town and of course Lindos, for some culture.

The beaches are spectacular! The water is the most beautiful shades of blue you have ever seen. There is plenty to do for the day, weekend, or a whole week if you're lucky enough to stay longer. The food is wonderful, too.

Rhodes was a stop on a cruise I took and my fiance and myself just loved it! If you like beer you MUST stop and get a boot shaped glass filled with 1 or 2 liters of it!! We had such an a amazing time there, it was more beutiful than i could ever begin to describe.

PEOLE ARE FRIENDLY, BARS RESTAURANTS, ENTERTAINMENT IS GOOD, MUSIC, AND HISTORICAL PLACES, THERE IS LOT TO SEE AN DTO LEARN. BEACHES AND TOURISTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!!! AUSTRELIA, NOEWAY, ISRAEL, ENGLAND, IRELAND ETC... EVERYBODY GO THERE!

We stayed in the Blue Sky Apartments. a small run complex with brillant swimming pool and bar area. The staff are top people and can't do enough for you ! The local restaurts all serve fresh food to order highly recomend The Corali on the front. Andreas & Michalis Aretakis were wonderful hosts. ust look out for the locals and over holiday makers bombing about on mopeds and motor bikes. Hense 4 stars for saftey !
