I have just had the most amazing holiday in Ghana. I went with several friends to celebrate a 40th birthday.We went to Kokrobite and stayed at Big Millys Backyard.
This is an African compound with beautiful huts to suit all pockets.

They have an amazing restaurant with fresh fish caught at the end of the garden.

It was my first time to Ghana but am already planning to return in the spring.

The Ghanians are trul wonderful people.

I loved Ghana so much! Right from the moment you land at the airport, you are met with people willing to help but just like anywhere in the world,use universal safety tips.The hotels over there have a shuttle service which is very safe and the hotels, men they are quality.

I loved everything about Ghana. I spent six months there and I am getting ready to go back for two yrs. I love the country and the people. They are some of the nicest people i have ever met. Having a business there with my husband and not speaking the lanuage everyoone around me was so willing to help.

Accra is not organised city but Ghana is great and nice ; peoplle are very friendly

Hotel accommodation is readily available in 3 to 5 star hotels. Simple hotel rooms can cost as little as $5 per person. Guest houses abound both the capital city and other regions

I love Accra because it is very exciting in all areas: culture, music, nightlife,beaches, parties! All I can say is you have to go there to experience it. It'll definately change many people's views of Africa...
