The "Altstadt", once awarded to be one of the nicest roads in Europe, is a beautiful medieval road in the city center, like a large market place, with lots of very old, original houses, and it's impressing cathedral of Saint Martin's. I also liked the nice old castle and other historic buildings.
Landshut is close to Munich and other attractive locations, just about 50 km from the Munich airport.
