I absolutly LOVE Heidelberg. I don't live to far away and I think it is simply amazing. There's a castle that is right near down town (SHOPPING) and during Christmas there is just too much to do!!

Even though we live in Mannhein, the Husband and I love to visit here as often as possiable. There's always something to see and something going on.

I love Heidelberg. It is a town with charm and character. The old castle over the city with a great view of the Rhine River. There is so much to see. Great local restaurant with good German Food. The older part of town with its narrow streets is very picturesque also. All in all a great experience.

Germany is a Beautiful place to visit. There are plenty of American stationed in the area which makes it easier for first time Germany visitors to get around. Heidelberg is my favorite place in Germany. Not only does one never tire of it's stunning year round beauty, but with people there from all over the world, it's a much more cosmopolitan destination than people give it credit for. Check this place out! You will not be sorry!

Heidelberg is a small, but nice city. There are quite a few good places around and people are friendly. Most importantly, they are fluent in English. A bit expensive but overall, it's a recommended place.
