in the Heart of "La France Profonde"Brive la Gaillarde is situated in the heart of some of the most breath taking scenery that France has to offer. Located in the little known departement (county) of Correze this town of fifty thousand inhabitants is an ideal base for visiting some of the beautiful villages of The Correze, lot and Dordogne departments.

Brive is womderful!I was a foreign exchange student to Brive, France. I stayed for 4 weeks. It was the best place I have ever been! The food is amazing and the people are wonderful!
