The arcitechture was beautiful. Not nearly as magnificent as le chateau de Chenonceau, but not many can even begin to compete with Chenonceau. Theorhetically if you had the choice to go to, say, Blois or Azay le Rideau- go for Rideau! But Chenonceau is pretty much a must see castle. Great renaissance shapes and emotions. Renting a bike and going around the gardens was fun too.
