Angouleme is an interesting town,built upon a hill, surrounded by stone walls (ramparts). I lived in this town for three years and have since revisited it. You can meet everyone in town by going to local bars and not acting like a tourist (carrying a camera around your neck etc.). I would suggest going to la Mars Bar at place du champs. Le Mars ...
