Most things were a bit over pricedWe enjoyed our stay at the Casa de Campo, but going outside the resort was disappointing. The streets are littered with trash, too bad for such a beautiful country. Don't bother going into any of the major citys.

We arrived at Casa Del Mar at around 3:00PM and were greeted with a fruit punch drink. Check-in was quick and we were given a map with information of the resort. Never Again to Santana Beach ResortNever again will I stay at the Santana Beach Spa and Casino Resort. For starters you can't swim in the beach cause of the jelly fish they are all around second the clear clear water you see in the brochure doesn't exist the water is murky. Highly Recomend ItJust returned from a week's stay at the Iberostar Hacienda in LaRomana. We were there May 7th thru the 14th. Not expenciveHello I have to say that the first time I was there I didnt like so much these place but later I just found out that there is a lot things to do...I am crazy about the horses so I can say that even that I am not so good in hourse riding I loved it!!Was this review helpful? Absolutely loved it!I loved the warmth of the people. They were always so polite and friendly. Beautiful beaches in Dominicus and Bayahibe. Casa de Campo is spectacular especially if you like golfing. The homes are amazing in this place. If in Casa de Campo don't miss the Marina. Can't wait to go backLa Romana is not very well known to most travelers, however they have a section called Casa de Campo and Altos de Chavon that makes it worth the visit. Shakira, Diddy, and Michael Jackson are just a few of the celebs who visit. They have a wonderful marina where you can sail your boat and stay over night in one of the many lodging areas.
