Czesky Krumlov was the standout destination of our three-week holiday in Czech Republic recently. It has a lovely old world feel and everything is so accessible when staying in the central historic part of town. Food and accommodation is cheap relative to Prague and things have not yet been spoiled by overcrowding and tackiness. The river ...
I spent 5 days in Cesky Krumlov when I was backpacking through Europe in 2000. The tea house is amazing, the bars are fun, and because of the rural location there is a lot of very nice outdoorsy stuff to do including bike rides and long walks. There was a young lady at the hostel I stayed at, who had been in Cesky Krumlov for 8 months. It's a beautiful small town that you have to see if you are in the Czech Republic.
This place is a photographers dream !! A very romantic and fairytale like town. I was there with my buddies on a day trip from Cesky Budovice(spelling), another nice town about 25km north. We spent the entire day walking around, shopping, eating, taking pictures. It was incredible!! We actually missed the last bus back to Budovice, but luckily ...
If you are in the Czech Republic this is city is a must see. There is so much history and things to do you will not regret going. The Czech people in general are very nice as well.
I lived in Prague for 8 months due to business and Cesky Krumlov is a must see. The people are so nice and like Americans. Instead of those whirlwind 10 day multiple country tours I'd spend all my time the Czech Republic.
This is more of a Prague tip, but use AAA taxi cab company, the cabs there are nortorious for gouging tourists. Don't be shy using the public trains and trollies either.
The beautiful, pitoresque and historical smaller town on the south of Czech Republic. So amazing experience! You can visite the large chateaux with various monuments and lived bears :-) Cesky Krumlov is very close of Prague. When you will visite Prague, you have to go to the south and enjoy your eyes the wonderful town named Cesky Krumlov. There is ...
Comming here was amazing. It was just going to be a one day stop on our trip and we took several days. Mainly just to relax and get to know the locals. Everything to see and do, from exploring the castle w/ its bears to canoeing down the river. Excellent place to visit!
Just got back from The Czech Republic. Just a GREAT TIME. The Czech people were very pleasant and enthused about Americans and Tourists in general. But the highlight of the trip was hand down CESKY KRUMLOV. First..take the bus NOT the train. It's a shorter trip on the bus and it's a drive through the CZECH countryside and small villages ...
