The previous commentaries are out of topic!I am native citizen of Brno city and I´m sick of the previous commentaries i read here! It´s not a true that nobody here speaks English, there isn´t any nigtlife or some other out of topic bullshits. Brno has a rich nigthlife, you can choose from lots of pubs and restaurants and tourists are very often to see (usually from France, Spain, UK, ...1 of 1 Yahoo! It's definately not PragueBrno is the second largest city in the Czech Republic, but is World's away from Prague. Very few people speak any English and tourists are very thin on the ground. That said, the people are pleasant, food and drink is cheap and the centre of town is full of shops - just be careful of the trams running down the middle of the street ! The 2 main ...5 of 6 Yahoo! Not the best Czech city, but okWe went to Brno during March,2006 as a day trip while we were travelling from Prague to Vienna. It was only about 4 dollars to get there from prague by Student Agency bus service(check this out if in the Czech Republic).
