Went to croatia in summer 2007 and had the best time EVER! have so many great memories of this wonderful country. Hvar itself is a beautiful island and a must see! it wont disapoint!

I arrived in Hvar in November, weeks after the tourist season had ended. The locals were out in the fields harvesting olives. The usual flock of older women who greet passengers off the ferry from Split were nowhere to be found. I wandered around trying to find a room with no luck. it's very beautiful island, but that's all.
I like active holidays not only lying on beach and drink hectolitres of alkohol in bar.
so it's nice island, but nothing more nothing less.

Simple the best. My vacation on Hvar is my best time EVER! I'm From Bijeljina, Bosnia And Hercegovina, and I this year visit Hvar. 10 days of great time.

Hvar is one of the most beautiful places on earth! I have been there several times and each time it gets better. Everyone is very kind and helpful. In the summer there are nightly performers in the main square. I reccomend checking out the church when its open, but dress conservatively! There was nothing better than sitting on the riva (harbor) ...

The best way to enjoy in Hvar is by boat, bsc there are many many hidden beaches and islands and everybody can enjoy in privacy and during the night it is also mixture of restaurants and bars with many tourist all around the world!

Domestic people are nice and polite, many sunny days all aver the year and the best is in August!
