Dalian is a very welcoming and comforting place. I visited China knowing a handful of Mandarin, and did not feel out of place or alone in Dalian. The people there are warm, friendly, and the city itself is charming.

That was liked by me from this city was not too busy but plenty of tourist attractions that could be visited by us and that was not liked by me from this city taxi here not more comfortable unlike in Shanghai

well , if u come to China ,dalian is a worth city to travel . the city looks like a beautiful picture~and ,if u come to golden beach,u will see a beautiful theme park named Kingdoms of Discovery ,it's a new Theme park .
in winter ,it is not so cold as Harbin ,but u can get what u want in Harbin

LE WAN HOTEL DALIAN CHINA
As a business traveller attending an education seminar in dalian i have been so upset at the service provided that i have checked out after the first night. This hotel claims to be a four star however it does not appear this way.

I loved dalian because of the interesting shopping and shipping. The Chinese Navy is building its first supercarrier there. Also the hotel we stayed in the Shangri-la was super and had great facilities and service.

Very beautiful, clean, friendly city, not so crowded like Shanghai, Beijing or Hongkong, but well developed. one of the few cities in china you can see blue sky and breath fresh air, if you are a seafood lover, this is heaven. Only less than an hour flight from Beijing, so if you have time while you are in China, take a few days to visit this amazing city,I have been to so many places in china, this is the number one city!
