so soThe view is beautiful. However, the place hasn't been well developed for tourists or at least for the non-Spanish speaking tourists. The road to the park is not paved. The signs are all in Spanish. Most people work in the park can only speak Spanish. All park info/brochure are in Spanish. Hiking Paradise FoundMy wife and I tacked a 4 day stay in the park onto our Chile/Argentina trip. It was amazing. We didn't have any camping supplies with us at all. We booked the three nights each at a different refugio and mapped the hikes to and from the next refugio. It wasn't easy hiking and the days were long, but the sights were amazing. One of the Worlds Finest HikesThe trek around Torres Del Paine (CHILE)is one of the most spectacular in the world the trails are moderate to easy and well marked. You can sip glacier water everywhere and there is even beer for sale at the refugios. Backpacking with beer what could be better.I also recommend trekking at El Chaten in Argentina about fours north of Torres Del Paine by bus.
