Spectacular trip from Vancouver to Whistler, we passed two water falls, green mountains, as well as countless lakes! The view at nights with the clouds hanging in middle/top of mountain. It was the magical land.
Whistler itself is very nice, the village has many cafes, restaurants, shops.

Whistler is the coolest place in North America. Where else can you, in July, enjoy Merlin's Wings with a jug(pitcher) of beer in shorts and a Tshirt next to a group of people with their ski boots on cause they just got off the mountain? Scenery is out of this world. There is so much stuff to do, hike, bike, Zip, ATV, Drink, Dance, Eat, relax, and a ton more. Prices are on the high end, but there is a ton to do without spending extra dollars.

Whistler vacation rentals and accommodations in Whistler was awesome. Had ski in ski out hotel, and friends stay in Whistler at a condo. Found some great advice on whistler accommodations at Bamja.com for places to stay in Whistler, BC, Canada. Highly recommend taking in the morning ride before it opens, tons of powder plus you get some breaky up at the top of the ski run.

Whistler was the greatest time of my life, it was the first time I had leved in a ski resort of any kind, and it was actually one of the worst seasons for snow that the mountain had seen in 30 years but that didn't really seem to bother anyone, it just made things more exciting when there was a good snowfall. I have been to Whistler twice and in comparison with other resorts it is in a league of its own. The two mountains are HUGE and the runs varied for all abilities.
The town itself is great as well with loads of shops and restaurants... the food is also great.
Definately the best resort i have been to (Killington, Val Thorens, St. Anton...)
Once you have been once no other resort will do!!!

This summer we took the family to Whistler. We had never been in summer an were not sure what to expect. It was great! Weather was beautiful. Had an unforgetable dinner at Rim Rock,Arazis, kids liked the Brew House. To die for accomodations with Whistler Resort Homes.And had some awesome tours with some of the local companies.We'll be going back!
