Missing Hotel in Merritt?Merritt is a great little stop in just off the main Highway from the coast (Vancouver) through to Kamloops and beyond. Many people simply drive by missing out on the local charm which indeed is more Cowboy than anything else. Noticed in the Hotel listings that a noticable hotel right downtown seems missing. The Helpful Town of MerrittWe landed in Merritt due to having serious transmission problems. We found the people there to be very friendly and HELPFUL. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable under a very stressful situation.
