The traffic pace in this town is horrific. You can fly hear on the coquihalla but as soon as you get here, you may as well fall asleep at the wheel. Big box stores and tons of traffic lead you only to more frustration. Sure the weather is great in the summer but I would not live here again.
Kelowna: One of the few remaining tundra/desert areas of Canada. Living here allows one the unique opportunity to experience all four seasons, instead of just your regular winter, really cold winter, cold summer, and warm summer. Here one can experience the beauty of Autmn and the majesty of Spring. It's amazing here. If you live up on some of ...
Kelowna is AWESOME! All of Canada is beautiful and Kelowna is no exception! I stayed in a HUGE vacation home here that was just outside of town...close enough to be convenient, far enough away to feel like the country! I went in the fall and I would recommend LOTS of sweaters, but the beautiful colors of the changing leaves is wonderful. There ...
I went to visit my dad in Kelowna for the first time last week and I loved it! One must see part of the Okanagan for wine lovers is Naramata Bench. You drive through Penticton to get there, and once you arrive in the Naramata region, there are many small and large wineries to visit and sample. Very easy to get around, mind you, the Kelowna bridge ...
I love this place. There is just so much to do there. The prices where not to high. There are wineries to explore, fruit to pick and places to see. And belive it or not. Not that many travel agents in the US knows about this place. The whole time I was there. I didn't see any US tourist. So if you want a great place to vaction at. Go To Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley.
Things I like about Kelowna are the beaches especially because they're all nice and sandy and only one is always really crowded. The rest are less crowded and therefore more peacefull. Another is the people, cause they're generally nice people but could be a little nicer when on the public bus. Orchard Park Mall is a ggod place to shop ...
We liked Kelowna because of the beautiful aesthetic appeal. The boulevards were lush and green, the foliage along the streets was gorgeous with bushes and flowers. We enjoyed the beach at Gyro Park. We noticed that we weren't bothered by flying bugs (like mosquitos), and the air felt comfortable, even on a windy day. Just being in Kelowna was a favorite thing!
