Field is located at the centre of Yoho National Park along the TransCanada Highway. The town is in a good base from which to expore the parks sights and excellent hiking and bike trails. Field has a very good information centre as well as providing the essential needs for camping in the area. The park itself is a great way for vacationing in the mountains while avoiding the over exploitation of neighbouring Banff National Park.
