My wife and I just visited Angkorwat in Siem Reap. We extremely enjoyed our holiday and our trip was arranged by a local tour operator named Amazing Angkor Tour. We would highly recommend this agent for the tour arrangement in Cambodia. You could contact them through Email:
Nice place to go. All hotels are located close to the historical sites. We went there with small children, which is not always easy but we visited sites in the morning and relaxed at the pool in the afternoon. It was great. Try to avoid going to the tonle sap lake with the organised touristic boats. It is horrible. If possible, try to charter a private boat.

Beautiful country with wonderful friendly people!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/08
From travelling in South East Asia for months, the Cambodian people really stood out as friendly and welcoming. Siem Reap was much nicer than we had expected and we stayed longer than we initially had planned. We only really knew about Angor Wat, but the town has a lot more to offer. Remote temples, waterfalls, floating villages (this was a great ...

A great place to stay and value for money in Siem Reap!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/06/07
We stayed at Soria Moria hotel... The staff were fantastic and made us feel welcome as soon as we stepped in the door! No request was a problem.
Our room was larger than we expected and we liked the little traditional touches in the room with the Khmer silk and ornaments. We were very pleased with what we got for what we actually paid - great ...

Siem Reap - stay another day!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/29/07
Siem Reap is truely wonderful place, with loads of adventure and activities. After you are done with Angkor and the temple-touring try out Tonle Sap and the floating villages - or visit some of the initiatives listed in the 'stayanother' day booklet. The average 3 days is too short to experience it all, so try to stay longer if you can. ...

I love it here!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/07
The temple trekking is awesome absolutely beautiful places!! I was in Seim Reap for only 3 days and I took 900 pictures!! The food is similar to Thai food but not spicy at all. The weather is really hot most of the year, I would recommend going at the beginning or mid December. At each temple you will surrounded by children selling all kinds of ...
I love this city cuz it's quiet and so many temples here. I was speechless when I saw the great temple Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. You guys have to see them by yourself. And ppl here are so nice and friendly.
When i had a break between my graduated exam at my hometown, my grand-aunt asked me to travel to Cambodia to join a wedding. My hometown is next to Cambodia so there was no reason to refuse this exciting proposal. Took with me some clothes on my backpack and got inside my uncle's car. Then, beginning my 1st overseas tour. That was so ...

raffish charm
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/20/06
I could not get the smile off my face as we landed in siem riep(correct pronunciation). I was not disappointed as the ruins were awesome and the town had raffish charm,it was like going back in time in asian history. The scale of the temple construction was overpowering to an old building worker like me. This would have been the biggest building ...
