The shore diving on Bonaire is very good and very easy in many places. A beautiful fringing reef lies just a few yards from shore. There is also a rare double-reef system that runs from Punt Vierkant to Pink Beach. The storm surges of 1999 and 2005 have done damage, especialy to the shallow reef, but many dive sites were not affected. Gone though ...
