Just got back from diving Bonaire. The hotel condition is marginal and should not be expected to be 4 star. The location is what you go for and the diving. Love Bonaire - everything about it is AWESOME! Especially the shore diving. Going back in two weeks!! Clear water and lots of marine life. Pictures and descriptions don't even come close to doing justice to this place!!

Very quiet, low number of turists, beautiful nature, nice poeple, safe, fair prices, excellent conditions for windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking, bird watching, fishing and other sports activities.

I just love absolutely every single part of this Island. From the night life to the day life. The Island is absolutely beautiful. The tours are forever memorable. I loved the Villa we stayed inside while visiting the Island,there were green lizards all over but they weren't scary. they were actually cute. I also visites St. Croix the Virgin Islands while over, I can't wait to return, I may have my wedding here.

Bonaire is a great place to dive. You don't need to stay at a resort, and you don't need a boat. All you need are tanks (for about $100 for a week, unlimited at Buddy's dive resort), a truck to rent, and a clean quiet place to stay (Happy Holiday Homes). This is the best place to go diving!!!!!! The nice thing about it is that all the diving is right off the shore so you do not have to get up at a certain time to get a dive boat it is all flexible and you just can not believe what you see. There is tons of fish, the vareity of sponges just unbelievable!!!!!

The laid back atmosphere of bonaire can be annoying when you first arrive because no one is in a hurry to do anything. But, by the time you leave you won't want to leave it behind.
