THIMPU IS VERY GOOD CITY , I VISITED IN 16/5/2006 TO 18/5/2006. SILENCE CITIZEN ,VERY GOOD CENTRAL G.P.O. BUT PRICE OF GOODS R COSTLY TO COMPARATIVE INDIAN RATES.( IT IS DUE TO TRANSPORTATION).CLEAN ROAD AND SMOOTH ROAD IN THIMPU.THE NATURE IS GOOD.TANSPORATION FACILITY FROM INDIA TRAVEL IS VERY DIFFICULT BECAUSE FORM JAIGAON (WEST BANGAL,INDIA) ...

the food was great, the people were friendly, the dzongs were absolutely beautiful and the views are amaaazzing. i can't wait to go back!! because it's so high up in the mountains..the elevation was hard to get used to for someone from the city..but other than that. :D !
