Leuven is sooooo beautiful! I've traveled all aoround Europe...Leuven is for sure a city that will capture your heart forever! A must see place on Christmass!!!

I very much enjoyed Leuven. Very friendly people; we met lots at the pubs at night and always had a great time. Everything was walking distance from our hotel, the Holiday Inn Garden Court, a very nice hotel across the street from the University. BEER WAS SOOOOO GOOD! Food is also excellent. Short trip to/from Brussels. I actually enjoyed Leuven more than Brussels.

I lived in Leuven for a year. Lots of things to do and see. The Lyric was my favorite restaurant. The Grote and Klein Beginhof history is fascinating. It's a college town so there are plenty of pubs! Enjoy.

University town with Grote Markt being the center of student life. Clean and safe with friendly people who speak excellent English. Check out the home of Stella Artois, visit the university founded in the 1400s and see the castle with its beautiful grounds and resident swans.
