We took a day trip up from Mons. Loved walking the city. The castle was great and informative. Worth the 6 euro. I suggest for food the La Grille. Small little place but the food is great. It sits right down the street from McD's, right on the water.

The castle is a nice place to visit. And it will give you a great view over Ghent.

And because of the history everywere in the town. It's a nice town to walk trough.

Nice and friendly place, i like it so much, very interesting points in downtown and the central river view is excelent.
