Great cuisine, nice and very clean city, friendly people, lots of small shops, cafes, historical places to see. The architecture is beautiful. Many national parks and diverse wildlife. A good travel agency to work with that will help you with visa processing/ invitations/ hotel reservations and other stuff is Bel-Ilsu. I visited over there two times. First off all, I would to say, visit Minsk only at the summer. It's not like any other big european city, even not like Moscow or Kiev. Minsk is really soviet city surviving up to 21 cent, but with all modern networks.
