Heaven on EarthI lived in Bahrain for 12 years I love the country,locals are very friendly go out of their way to help you, excellent restuarants,awesome hotels, beautiful beaches.This is one place you can do what you want to without driving for hours. WHO'D THUNK...That a place like this situated seemingly in the heart of nowhere, would be so great. I lived here for over a year. Here is the deal, you must hit the brunch on Fridays at the Hilton. And to do this you must make reservations at least three days in advance. Even then this is cutting it close. Also, bite the bullet and get up at about 4:30 AM. Nice but boring..and WAY too hotBahraini people are very friendly and the country is very safe but it is definitely not an ideal vacation place. The weather is suffocatingly hot and humid and there was nothing really much to do.. except go to the main mall and that got boring after two days.
