Surfer Paradise gives meaning by its name - proven as the best place for surfing with ideal waves. Located in Queensland, the sunshine state, Surfer Paradise is crowded by modern hotels, ports, ships, and ppl of course. Also, the beach is so beautiful to explore for other activities like sunbathing, swimming and diving.

S.P is also good at ...

  • A Local's Review
    By MsV, 08/19/07
Okay, so I'm biased. I have lived here all my life yet even as a local I like to "holiday" here at home. If you are a family, there are plenty of "family-orientated" activities to do here and not all of them cost alot of money. If you are smart, you can find discounts and deals in re the theme park costs all over the place ...

  • Place for everything.
    By Chrism, 01/14/07
You've got the Beach at Surfers Paradise, Marina Villages at the Spit(Southport), and North at Hope Island, if you after a change of pace, there's a national protected rainforest at Tamborine Mountain, 45-1hr drive from the Central Area of the Coast.

  • Fantastic holiday
    By ssissy, 09/20/06
Surfers Paradise was once just a massive stretch of world-beating surf. Today, the surf is still there but with many additions: high-rise accommodation, giant theme parks, exotic nightlife.

The impressive Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise boasts the best location on the Gold Coast offering something a little different from the usual tourist ...

  • Viscount Towers Fantastic
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/24/06
Had a great time with the kids and the weather was fantastic. Found this great place to stay that's right on the edge of Broadbeach so you get the nightlife of Surfers without staying in the middle of all those ugly highrises. It was called Viscount Towers.

The three bedroom units are hugh with lots of room for the kids. We stayed on the ...

I'll tell you why, there are no entrance fees, nice view of the entire gold coast, shopping malls are just accross the beach, terrific waves, Aussies are soooo friendly to everybody no matter what race you are AND best of all, the lifeguards are yummmmy!

  • Jeans
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/15/06
I remember first rocking up to surfers and walking around the streets in Jeans and a long sleeved shirt. I felt so out of place like an outsider but then later on I poped on my boardies and changed my shirt and I was relaxed

the sand on the beach....the type u roll and play in...and can't wash out later, lol! And the shopping mart on the beach, very nice, but the topless Aussie women, very, very alluring. Had a shark warning, and was swimming in a rip tide at the time...very tittalating.
