  • Econo Lodge in Cody Wy.
    By lorrtru, 05/29/09
We stayed at the Econo Lodge in Cody Wy. It stated that it had a heated pool and WiFi. It had a pool that was cooler than lukewarm and they had the air conditioner on while people were swimming (the outside temp was around 55). The WiFi was not exisitant in the hotel rooms, we were able to use the hotel computer but to pick up email.
    The staff ...

  • Don't Miss This Town - Especially if you're single!
    By Miss Anna, 01/06/07
My 13 yr old daughter and I flew to Montana from Florida July of 06. We went many places and saw many exciting and wonderful things. Cody was our favorite place. The Buffalo Bill Museum is one of the best I've ever encountered. Our "white water rafting" trip was more of a float, but beautiful scenery and I liked the dog on the bus ...

  • Some good activites and some not so good
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/06
My husband and I spent 3 days in Cody Wyoming. My husband wanted to see the Cody Firearms museum which is part of the Buffalo Bill Historical Museum. He was not disappointed in the large firearms collection which features 1500 firearms on the main floor and another 1200 in a lower level area, accessible via one elevator. The rest of the museum, ...

    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/06
I love everything about it. The great hotels, the shopping, the people, and the food. Oh, the food! Bubba's BBQ was to die for. The staff was outstanding and the food was even better. I can't wait to become a part of this great little town.

  • We fell in love with Cody
    By William, 10/28/05
There is so much to do in and around Cody, it is best visited and experienced, rather than explained. The Cody Museum is simply outstanding, with the Whitney Gallery of Western Art being almost a religious experience. Irma's was excellent, as was the cowboy poetry at the gunfight. This was our first visit to Cody, yet we did not meet any strangers, everyone treated us like we lived next door.

  • Cowboy Town USA
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/05
We visited Wyoming this past summer. We flew from North Carolina for the 4th of July Parade in Cody. The weather was perfect and our timing was right. To start the parade this year was 2 "Black Hawk" helicopters. All the beautiful horses, floats, cowboys & cowgirls just made you want to take a pictures of them all. This parade reminded me ...

  • My favorite experience on our 6 state vacation
    By Linda, 09/11/05
The friendliest people in the West!! The people at the Cody KOA were the nicest and we had stayed at 3 different KOA's in the past week before Cody. We were at the IRMA Hotel and a man walked up and asked if we wanted him to take our picture, he did, it turns out he was the Mayor!! Inside the IRMA cafe the waitress was talking to us about ...

This is not a roadside attraction but a major museum.
All 5 for $15 = Plan some time here, at least half a day. They stamp your hand so you can leave for lunch.

  • Destination Cody Wyoming
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/05
Cody is a destination place. We did not know there was so much to do there. Between the incredible museum complex with five museums, the rodeo, the river sports, the hiking, biking and horseback rides we did not stay long enough to do all that we wanted to do. We will have to return and make our whole vacation in Cody. Food is great, lots of ...
