New residents to WashburnMy wife and I moved to Washburn 2 years ago and opened up two businesses. We have been absolutely charmed by "The little town on a big lake".
Upon moving here we were offered 2 free tickets to Big Top Chautauqua "Riverpants". What a wonderful show, we laughed so hard our cheeks hurt. The ambiance of brats, beer, gorgeous ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

Love the areaI love the setting , close to Bayfield, but more affordable. With real people! GREAT Italian resturant. better than any I have been to in the cities. I think it is called viaggios on main streetOVERALLAtmosphereConvenienceSafetyValue

Will visit again!!This is the town to visit-ice fishing is fantastic! Can catch walleye, trout, salmon and trophy smallmouth bass here. Main snowmobile trail runs through middle of town of 2300 people.
My wife enjoyed the little shops and friendly residents.
