i live in kenosha right now and i have been all my life. it is a great place to live (despite the cold weather) and we have beautiful summers, and gorgeous falls. it is such a warm place to live, and, it might not be the biggest city, but you'll be sure to feel welcome. also, it is right in between milwaukee and chicago, so you have two big cities to hang around in too!

It's place that has been voted #1 place to raise a family in the whole nation just a few years ago. Kenosha is also a place where there is family style resturants ...

Blue Collar Rocks
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/01/07
The city was built by Blue Collar people. It should remain this way. If you are White Collar it is not for you and do not move in and try to change the school system, roads and housing ordinances. We like it the way it is! Stay Out!

Kenosha Great place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/06
I like kenosha because of all the festivals and family friendly events. I also like the night live from friendly corner bars to more upscale bars like pazzo and wine knot. They have done so much with kenosha in the last ten years.I feel safe here and the schools are good. I used to live in chicago. Yes there is tons to do in chicago but how often ...

Not sure what the negative users problem was with Kenosha. It is a beautiful city with much to offer.
Very few cities have so many miles of beach area that you can drive and see the lake up close or take long walks along the beautiful beach areas or the many parks.
The water is clean, the beaches are clean, the band shell is awesome with ...

cant wait to leave kenosha
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/27/05
kenosha is a place where the people are rude dont have any manners and at times look at you like you are stupid and if you speake to them or say excuse me you probably wont get a response. there is nothing to do in kenosha if you are retiring and have no energy to do nothing then maybe this is the place for.
While driving through with my family we stopped at different places and after that day we decided that we would move here. I love the fact that Kenosha is centrally located between Milwaukee and Chicago. We have the best of both of the big cities at our finger tips. Also, the resturants and Schools are outstanding. If you want a lot out of a small package this is the place to get it.

Nothing special
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/05
I visited Kenosha this summer and it seemed like a pretty run down area. It was a disappointment because there isn't much to do except go to chain restaurants or stores. If you're looking to visit Wisconsin, this isn't the place to go!

Close to the big cities but still small
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/05
Great place to live...lakeshore has much to offer...super outlet malls also...small town atmosphere but still not far from Milwaukee or Chicago...trying hard to be a blend of both worlds.
