The town still conserves most of its old buildings, even though many of the cottages have been transformed into shops. There is a tiny beach area, which really isn't much, but the town itself is quaint and defintely worth a visit.
This is one of the most quaint little towns that I have ever experienced. We drove through the door county a few times during our trip and each and every time we ended up going back to Ephraim and decided this was the place where we would want to spend our time. Our room overlooked the water and the area has great outdoor restaurants and pleasant shopping experience. But best of all is the view and the people.
