My family has been staying in Barron visiting relatives for over 30 years. I love the charm of the small town and the beauty of the vast farm countryside. We always stay at the Barron Motel on Division Street. It has stood the test of time. I cannot say enough about the ownership throughout the years. The friendly staff is very knowlegeable of the surrounding areas. It is a very clean motel at an affordable price.

Barron is a very friendly community, with amazing resources for such a small town. Home prices are very reasonable, as are property taxes. Its hospital is part of the Mayo Health System and it provides excellent care, especially emergency services. It has a community center that contains a theater, indoor pool, gymnasium, indoor track, handball ...

I like how it's a friendly place to visit or live. Everyone at the stores Hotels Bars and Eating establishments are very kind and curteous. The atmosphere for the whole town is like you have been there for years.
